She Loves Like No Tommorow

As she held his hand she felt it,
The fear of not giving her all she deserves,
In his eyes was doubt if she'd stick around,
But in her heart was love deeper than oceans,
She loved him all the same.

He thought how he'd make her happy,
She thought how she'd make him smile,
He was worried without money it wouldn't last,
She cared nothing for all she had was enough,
She loved him all t he same.

What about when the kids come along? He wondered,
What about we let God do His part? She said,
His mood spelled you are priceless I don't deserve you,
Her sweet voice said you are God's gift to me
She loved him all the same

We'll make it through whatever,
God will be there whenever,
We will stick wherever,
We will be together forver.

Divine Priceless Black Glam

In her hands she held the world,
In her smile, the sun would rise,
In her eyes, I see the perfect tomorrow,
In her skin lies gold, diamond and pearls,
Her perfection is what I see.

Her voice holds passion for life,
Her laughter strikes the earth with joy,
Her commands, soft, tender, sweet but firm,
Her call, charming and irresistibly strong
She's a masterpiece of creation

She bares pain to convert it to joy,
She cries of sorrow to mold them to joy,
She lifts her burdens to transform them to blessings,
She never hates for her its easier to love,
One of a kind, one in a lifetime.

One who is cheerful in strain,
One who won't mind a train or a plane,
One who has skin black, dark and priceless,
One who God picked out from the rest.
Just the same one I see everyday on the other side of the mirror.

Live it While it Lasts

It is a pleasurable freedom,
No fuss about where you are,
No explanations for who dropped you,
Just you and your own rules to break,
Live it while you can.

I know sometimes it gets cold,
Then loneliness starts to creep in,
Don't rush, take it easy,
Let things flow like the should,
Live life while you can.

Toast to single hood,
Smile to freedom,
Lift your hands in the air,
Say, "Am happy am single"

Just Sometimes

Sometimes it's the pain that teaches you relief,
Sometimes it's the tears that teach you to smile,
Sometimes it's sadness that teaches you happiness,
Sometimes it's weakness that teaches you strength,
But it's not all the time.

Sometimes dark clouds cover the sky,
Sometimes the rain blocks your way,
Sometimes the sun doesn't rise on time,
Sometimes the winds blow against your direction,
But at least it's not all the time.

Sometimes the road gets too rough,
Sometimes the desert gets too hot,
Sometimes the wall gets too rough,
Sometimes the path gets too bushy,
But it can't be all the time.

Sometimes look at yourself in the mirror,
Sometimes be proud of what you see and have,
Sometimes break away from what people want,
Sometimes block the world and live your life,
But all the time, let God take the lead.

Rest Your Case

The tension and anxiety piled,
Sometimes it felt better to just hide,
They probably didn't care to hear my side,
But at the end, I had to swallow my pride,
And rest my case.

Well it favored you and am glad,
God knows the sleepless nights I had,
Few happy ones but most were sad,
Like a virtuous nice gentle lad,
I rest my case.

Your side or my side, they don't care,
Am proud of us, we didn't pull each others hair,
Its quite commendable how we managed to bare,
Everyone's faults and burdens which we shared,
So rest your case.

Lets put the past where it belongs,
We might have differed in opinion,
It is now behind us and life has to move on,
So lets press to our goals and
We both Rest Our Cases.

I love you KENYA.

Suprise! Am Sorry

I know what you thought,
You'd find me soaked in tears,
I know what you expected,
I' d be broken and afraid,
Am sorry to say, am stronger now than then.

I wonder if my pain is your joy,
If it is am so sorry to disappoint,
My third name is now strength,
You'll be surprised, how much I have grown,
Am sorry, since you left, I turned out perfect.

I know you've been talking, so have been my friends,
Am not a survivor, am a liver to the end,
Try your best to put me down, but I ain't dead,
I guess you are choking now, from your own surprise,
Am sorry I didn't turn out, to be what you wanted.

It feels good to rub it in your face,
It feels great, to shove it down your throat,
It feels just perfect, to be a pain in your neck,
Am sorry, I did not turn out a failure.

Don't Be Scared

Run away bird,
Far from the place called home,
Praying hard for calm,
Hoping beyond hope,
It will be fine, don't be scared.

Forgive the past,
Don't forget it, it will teach you,
Not to make the previous mistakes,
But for now keep calm
Don't be scared.

I am proud of you,
You learned quick from experience,
Now you got butterflies,
But you are settled and calm,
Don't be scared.

Now don't let the tension overcome,
You are strong and beautiful,
I loved you just as I love you much now,
So keep calm and Don't be scared.
We all are gonna be okay.

Special Dedication to My Love
