Age is Just a Number
To the sweet pure innocence of my child,
I compare the priceless wisdom of my grandpa,
Just as the little baby needs to be fed,
So does sweet old granny needs help to walk,
Don't you think age is just a number.
The beauty you see in my young flawless skin,
Is just what dad sees in mum's wrinkled face,
The powerful energetic stinging talent in Beyonce,
Resembles the glow and beauteous gift of Aretha,
Coz age doesn't change a thing.
If you loved her for who she is and she did too,
For as young or as old she was, she was lovely,
If he made it in life a bit earlier,
Or he finally made it at the very end,
You do realize age is just a number.
The clock ticks but time does not,
The best of life is offered in every single day,
Woman breaks world record for oldest dancer,
Baby breaks world record for the youngest dancer,
Both names are in the guinness book, age is just...
When you feel you have not achieved yet,
When you think you are the last among friends,
Remember time flys but its never too late,
Get it a sweet sixteen or at smashing forty,
Age Is Just a Number
