Life’s journey is not smooth, neither is love’s path,
Not like a telephone booth, toss a penny to make a call that’s worth,
Enemies are a pain in the tooth, but friend bring along wrath,
Trusting too much is uncouth, know your numbers and add up your math.
Don’t let the world tell you what you shouldn’t and should,
That way you get to live longer than you would,
Do it now, so you never say, I wish if only I could,
Today grows bigger that the future you build
Die old but always be young at heart,
The world is cold but that‘s not yet the saddest part,
People cry, some die, everyone is living in hurt,
Believe in your prayer, your pay cheque is going to grow fat.
Very few study law but everyone is a judge,
Man forgets they are not perfect, they all hold a grudge,
Life is sweet, tastes like vanilla and fudge,
No need to be evil, there is no accomplishment badge.
